I met with Mr Rath following 7 months of pain down both my right & left leg . I had been seeing a chiropractor weekly but the pain on the left side became worse not better, the right side did improve. I am a keen walker & had been walking 50-70km /week with the help of painkillers but I had to stop as it was becoming to painful. I asked my chiropractor to make a referral for me to establish if anything else was going on which she did & I met with Mr Rath. At our first meeting Mr Rath explained that he felt sure it was a problem with my disc & arranged an MRI scan. When we met following the scan he confirmed that the problem was between L4/L5 & that it was a large herniation. We discussed the options which was ongoing painkillers or surgery L4-L5 lumbar discetomy. After discussion it was agreed that surgery was the best option due to the size of the disc. Mr Rath explained everything very clearly both pre & post surgery & I couldn’t have been more pleased with the treatment I received. I am now at home recovering & looking forward to my life getting back to normal thanks to the care I have received

Happy with treatment received by Dr Rath, clear explanation was given pre and post surgery . Also friendly and smiley , as I am hard of hearing when this was explained to him he spoke directly and clearly . Pain free after surgery and very tidy scar .
